Picnic Day Performances

August 22nd, 2008

Our jazz combo and the Stridin’ Tigers both gave performances today for our student body at BVHS. The jazz combo performed on the USO Show to welcome the freshman class in the PAC. The Stridin’ Tigers performed at the stadium to open the fall sports picnic for the entire school. Both groups had strong performances for the first week of school.

Car Wash Fun

August 9th, 2008

A big “Thank You” to all students and parents who helped with the car wash on August 2nd.  Over $600 was taken in in donations on site, which goes into the general fund.  Students who took pledges per car can now collect those pledges and turn the money in over the next couple of weeks for 100% profit on 100 cars washed.  Martha Proulx, our fundraising chair, was absolutely amazed at how hard the students worked and how pleasant they were during the entire car wash. Way to go, Tiger Band!!!
